Data Security and Privacy Statement

Data Security & Infrastructure

Sprint Auto Scheduler is developed using Atlassian Forge, Atlassian's secure cloud development platform. All code runs within Atlassian-managed infrastructure and benefits from Atlassian's security, reliability, and compliance standards.

  • No external servers or APIs are involved.

  • All data access and storage is handled by Atlassian.

  • We do not operate or maintain any separate backend systems

 

Atlassian Forge ensures:

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

  • Role-based access control and scoped permissions restrict unauthorized data access

  • Apps are isolated and sandboxed, minimizing cross-app risk

 

Data Access & Usage

The app accesses only the minimum required Jira data needed to perform sprint automation. This includes:

  • Scrum board metadata (board ID, name)

  • Sprint start/end dates Issue statuses (to determine open issues)

  • Basic configuration (stored within Atlassianʼs infrastructure via Forge storage APIs)

We do not access, store, or transmit:

  • Issue content (descriptions, comments)

  • User profile or personal identifiable information PII

  • Attachments, files, or project-level confidential data

 

Data Storage & Retention

All configuration data (e.g., selected board, automation preferences, custom sprint times) is securely stored using Forge's Storage API, which stores data within Atlassianʼs cloud.

  • No customer data leaves the Atlassian platform.

  • No data is stored or cached on any third-party server.

  • Data is retained only as long as the app is installed and configured.

  • Users can delete automation rules anytime via the app UI.

 

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share, transmit, or sell any data to third parties.

Sprint Auto Scheduler does not use any analytics tools, third-party APIs, or tracking services.

 

Privacy Compliance

As a Forge-hosted app:

  • We inherit Atlassian's GDPR, CCPA, and SOC2 compliance.

  • No personal data is collected or processed by us directly.

  • Users may delete or reset their configurations at any time from within the app.
